Test the waters for yourself with our own unique Molokai Mezcal cocktail. Let’s get started, shall we? Here’s how we are breaking out of the standard tiki rum cocktail mold.
How To: Simple Syrup
This mezcal-drenched cocktail calls for its own simple syrup. We’ve got just the recipe for you. Here’s what you’ll need to make this kickin’ syrup at home.
You’ll need a pan, and in that pan you’ll combine all of your ingredients, heating them up until the mixture thickens. Let the mixture come to a cool, and pour it into a bottle equipped with a pour spout. Now that’s simple, for syrup!
Let’s Make A Cocktail
Ready to whet your whistle? Here’s an ingredient checklist to keep close.
1½-ounces Don Amado mezcal
½-ounce cayenne simple syrup (recipe below)
½-ounce Key lime juice
2-ounces pineapple juice
Cilantro for garnish (optional)
Dust off your cocktail shaker and add all of your ingredients, then, shake vigorously, for a minimum of 30-seconds. Next, strain your mixture into an ice-filled high-ball glass. Add your cilantro garnish and enjoy! This recipe yields one serving.
